NRA Endorses Senator George Allen, Muslims Blame Women For Sex Crimes And Ann Coulter's Latest

It should come as no surprise that the NRA should come out and support a Conservative candidate for a U.S. Senate seat. After all, George Allen is one of our nation's strongest supporters of the 2nd Amendment. Here is a list of Senator Allen's positions on 2nd Amendment issues:

  • He Earned an A + rating and endorsement by NRA-PVF for his perfect voting record, and is a tireless supporter of and leader on our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage.
  • He cosponsored and voted for the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, stopping bogus gun industry lawsuits trying to bankrupt firearms manufacturers and dealers by holding them responsible for the acts of criminals.
  • He is a sponsor of the National Right to Carry Reciprocity bill, whereby each state will recognize CCW permits just as they recognize each others drivers licenses.
  • He cosponsored the Disaster Recovery Personal Protection Act and voted to prohibit gun confiscation during states of emergency as happened after Hurricane Katrina
  • He is a cosponsor of the District of Columbia Personal Protection Act, which would repeal the gun ban for law-abiding D.C. residents and restore their right of self defense.

But what is surprising is that his opponent, Jim Webb, is not speaking out on 2nd Amendment issues. Jim Webb is also pro-gun but must take his cues from the DNC which is rabidly for gun control. It is kind of ironic that Jim Webb accuses George Allen of agreeing with President Bush 96% of the time as if it were a bad thing, and yet Webb himself is allowing the DNC to use him as a puppet.

Exactly how many issues does Jim Webb disagree with the DNC on and exactly what are those issues? If Webb really wants to paint himself as an independent, he must come forward with that information before November 7th. Until then, Senator Allen has my vote simply for the fact that I know exactly where he stands on the issues. I have no clue what Jim Webb really stands for.

Here is a sickening story coming out of Austrailia. The alleged Religion of Peace is making some more preposterous claims about Muslims and sex crimes. Austrailia's most senior Muslim cleric has declared that women who dress "immodestly" are the ones responsible for sexual attacks, not the uncontrolled and undisciplined men who do the attacking.

From The Austrailian:

The nation's most senior Muslim cleric has blamed immodestly dressed women who don't wear Islamic headdress for being preyed on by men and likened them to abandoned "meat" that attracts voracious animals.

In a Ramadan sermon that has outraged Muslim women leaders, Sydney-based Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali also alluded to the infamous Sydney gang rapes, suggesting the attackers were not entirely to blame.

While not specifically referring to the rapes, brutal attacks on four women for which a group of young Lebanese men received long jail sentences, Sheik Hilali said there were women who "sway suggestively" and wore make-up and immodest dress ... "and then you get a judge without mercy (rahma) and gives you 65 years".

...

In the religious address on adultery to about 500 worshippers in Sydney last month, Sheik Hilali said: "If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat?

"The uncovered meat is the problem."

The sheik then said: "If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred."

He said women were "weapons" used by "Satan" to control men.

And there you have it. One of the biggest reasons why we must win the war against Islamofascism: to prevent the Islamic subjugation of women.

Where is CAIR on this issue? Where is NOW on this issue? Where are the Dems on this issue? Why are they all so shamefully silent?

Because to speak out against the likes of Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali would mean giving legitimacy to the Bush Administration. The Dems would rather regain power than to actually do something to prevent a forceful submission of women to Islamics.

Another reason for us core Conservatives to get out and vote on November 7.

And Ann Coulter entertains us with her most recent column in which she looks into the contradictory world of Democrat war support. From her column:

In fact, during the brief five weeks it took American forces to take Kabul and send the Taliban scurrying, liberals were not the flag-waving patriots they would have us believe.

In October 2001, Sen. Joe Biden gave a speech before the Council on Foreign Relations saying that America's air war in Afghanistan made the United States look like "this high-tech bully that thinks from the air we can do whatever we want to do."

Four weeks before U.S. troops completely vanquished the Taliban, Kim Jong Il's pal, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, said on CNN's "Capital Gang" that the Taliban would not soon be toppled. He cited his experience with the Taliban, saying: "I think they can hold on for a while. They were very resilient."

Howard Dean joined Michael Moore in arguing that Osama bin Laden was innocent until proved guilty.

It wasn't (and still isn't) just elected politicians who are wavering and vacillating in the face of factual reality. She goes on to say:

Democrats who would not have to face voters -- we call them "reporters" -- were calling Afghanistan a "quagmire" approximately six minutes after we invaded.

Thomas Ricks, the Washington Post reporter who currently has a book out saying the war in Iraq is not succeeding, also said the war in Afghanistan was not succeeding.

On Oct. 27, 2001, Ricks said this about Afghanistan -- not Iraq: "Although there is little evidence -- yet -- that the U.S. approach is succeeding, officials at the Pentagon and the White House said yesterday that they are sticking with their original strategy."

Our boys had taken Kabul before Ricks' article hit the recycling bin.

And her parting shot:

The first time liberals had a kind word for the war in Afghanistan was when they needed to pretend to support some war in order to attack the war in Iraq with greater vigor. To get them to support the Iraq war, all we have to do is attack Iran.

Yep.
